ACROBAT / GALIZANI COLT

Acrobat x Galizani Colt

Inglis Premier Yearling Sale

By Acrobat, this colt is bred on a proven Australian speed profile.

Acrobat was an unbeaten, stakes-winning 2YO, winning the $500,000 Inglis Nursery (RL) on debut at Randwick in a sharp 56.02 seconds. He is by Fastnet Rock out of Hips Don’t Lie (NZ), a Group 2 Reisling Stakes-winning juvenile who has produced multiple stakes performers including Lake Geneva (Group 1 placed in the Golden Slipper and Blue Diamond) and Ennis Hill (Group 3 winner). It is a fast, precocious and proven female family — and one that has already produced elite performers.

The colt is out of Galizani (AUS), a four-time winner by Galileo (IRE) out of a Zabeel mare. This brings a strong international influence into the pedigree, blending Fastnet Rock speed with Galileo stamina and the renowned Zabeel toughness — a cross that adds depth and scope to an already sharp sire line.

This colt represents an appealing balance:

• Unbeaten stakes-winning 2YO sire

• Fastnet Rock over Galileo/Zabeel cross

• Proven stakes-producing sire family

• Dam a multiple winner with international depth

Physically, he is strong, balanced and athletic, with a powerful hindquarter and good bone. He stands over ground, walks fluently and presents as a forward type capable of running early while still having the scope to improve with maturity.

A colt bred on genuine performance, combining Australian speed with international class — and exactly the type suited to our sprinting program
