Despite a brief eight-start career, Alabama Express proved his elite class by winning four races, culminating in the Group 1 C.F. Orr Stakes.

As a direct son of the legendary Redoute’s Choice, he carries the dominant Danehill line of Australian racing. He has quickly become one of the most exciting young sires in the country, having already produced the sensational four-time Group 1 winner Treasurethe Moment (including the VRC Oaks) from his first crop.

Dam: Shamar (by Street Cry)

A high-quality performer on the track, Shamar was a two-time winner from 1100m to 1400m. She was consistently competitive in the Victorian Metropolitan company. Her full sister, Silent Diva, has already shown early promise by winning as a two-year-old.

The true allure of this pedigree lies in the damline—the iconic Dancing Show family, arguably the most influential in Australasia. This line has produced top-line sires such as Redoute’s Choice, Umatilla, Hurricane Sky, Manhattan Rain, and Al Maher. Most recently, the 2024 Golden Slipper winner Manaal also hails from this family, cementing its status as a source of elite, precocious speed.

By breeding Alabama Express back to this damline, we have secured a powerful Dancing Show cross. This mating mirrors that of Golden Slipper winner Manaal. While Manaal is by Snitzel (another son of Redoute’s Choice) out of an Encosta De Lago mare, this colt features Encosta De Lago as his granddam’s sire, creating a remarkably similar and potent genetic profile.

名種牡馬リダウツチョイスの直系であり、オーストラリアの主流血統のデインヒル系。初年度産駒からVRCオークスを含むG1四勝のトレジャーザモーメントを輩出しており、若手種牡馬で最も期待されている種牡馬の一頭です。

母シャマール（母父ストリートクライ）

現役時代は1100mから1400mの距離で2勝、2着1回、ビクトリア州のメトロ開催でも勝ち馬と差のない競馬ができており能力の高い牝馬でありました。本馬の全姉サイレントディーバはまだ3歳ですが、2歳時にすでに勝ち上がっており、今後の活躍が期待できます。
そして、この血統の最大の魅力はダンシングショウから始まるオーストラリアが誇る超名牝系であることです。
