Better Than Ready continues to produce on the track. His progeny include multi million dollar winners Hidden Wealth, Apache Chase, Chrysaor, Port Lockroy, Skirt The Law and many other big earners. 1st dam Vis A Tergo was a very speedy mare winning 5 of her 10 races including 4 in a row. All of these wins were in Metropolitan races and she has produced in the breeding barn with Xanthus bred on the same cross already accumulating $294,350 and Ready For Better also bred on the same cross a city winner and earner of $110,010.

Deeper in the pedigree sits Group 1 winners Derobe and Pompeii Ruler, the colt is a rig. At $65,000 this colt was very good value on a day when the better yearlings with pedigree proved hard to buy. He is more athletic than most of the breed whilst still having the shape of the best of the breed. He is strong through the front end, correct and with a good hip.
