Bivouac x Forte Filly
Purchased for $60,000 + GST at the 2025 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale
We are excited to offer shares in this eye-catching chestnut filly by multiple Group 1 winner Bivouac, out of the well-related mare Forte. A daughter of Sepoy, Forte is a half-sister to Group 1-winning sprinter Nechita, dam of international stakes performers including Forbearance (Gr.3) and Harpo Marx (Gr.3).
This filly hails from a deep black-type family, including stakes winners Chiming Lass, Winona, and stakes performers in both Australia and Europe. With her elegant build and athletic movement, she is a lovely example of the Bivouac stock—balanced, strong through the shoulder, and built to run.
Bivouac was a star on the track, winning the VRC Newmarket, Sprint Classic and ATC Golden Rose, and now his progeny are catching the attention of buyers, with yearlings selling up to $540,000+.
With her strong pedigree and racing physique, this filly presents an exciting opportunity to race a well-bred, early-running type with proven bloodlines on both sides.
