Lovely Bivouac Colt
A multiple city winner and stakes placegetter over 1000-1200m, this colt’s dam Le Societe has been a grand producer of six to the races for six winners, most of which get over a bit of ground. He’s out of a Centaine mare, out of a Zabeel mare, out of an Anabaa mare - three incredibly strong broodmare sire influences.
Amongst Le Societe’s progeny is the Saturday city winning mare Alors tu Crois, who we trained. While her record is what it is, we feel she never really showed her true potential due to various ailments. Her E-Trakka readings were as good as any horse we’ve trained, illustrating amazing cardiovascular recovery, so you’d think genetically this colt could well be blessed with similar traits, hopefully minus the issues.
While his sire Bivouac was a 2yo winner, and a Newmarket Handicap winner, his progeny are displaying traits of taking a bit of time to hit their straps and getting out over a bit of ground. We feel this colt will be best suited around the mile mark and will make a lovely late 2yo/early 3yo, much like his father.
Shares are available in this colt at $6431 per 5% inclusive of purchase price, GST, race series nomination, insurance, vetting and sales commission. Importantly, he’s now eligible to be nominated for VOBIS due to his dam being bred back to a Victorian stallion (Toronado) following his birth.
