BRUTAL X CABANGA COLT (The proven cross of O’Reilly & So You Think)

This colt was scouted by John Foote Bloodstock, and tick of approval by Ciaron Maher racing.  He is a strong build of a colt and when Ciaron met him, he said “What a brute of a horse”.

These are the horses John has the ability to scout out, and purchase at a extremely bargain price as they are first season sires, and he knows the sires' pages from being the number one bloodstock agent across Australia, France, England, Hong Kong, and NZ.

On inspection Ciaron was really impressed with this colt overall robust put together confirmation, with a type that could run as a 2-year-old, and has sent him straight to the Ballarat stable to commence being broken in.

Brutal was a winner as a two-year-old in his first start and a Listed winner in the McKenzie Stakes in his second start. He backed that up by winning his third race start in another Listed race The Exford Plate at Flemington.

He was unlucky not to win his first Group 1 in the George Ryder coming second to the World Class Winx but still beating the rest of a Quality field with his closest rival 3.5 lengths behind. He did get his Group 1 in the stallion making Doncaster Mile at his next start in an amazing performance coming from Barrier 18 to run away a strong winner in the time-honored race.

Brutal has already sired black type winners and performers such as Harlem Queen, Jenni's Meadow, Lean On Me etc. and has a number of his second crop Nominated for Group 1 races for 2-year-olds like the Golden Slipper and Sires Produce.

The mare Cabanga by So You Think has had two foals to race so far in her short breeding career and both have been winners. Her half-sister Harlow Mist is a winner of 4 races and so far, has won over $ 250 k. Cabanga comes from a great family with High Chaparral, Danehill , Sadlers Wells, Archway and so many other champions. Horses with Similar crosses as our outstanding colt include, Sacred Falls, Coventina Bay, Veight , Kirramosa  just to name a few.
