Our final purchase of the sale was this cracking colt by third season sire Castelvecchio, already the sire of Group 1 Champion Stakes winner El Castello and 2 other black type performers, out of a winning half sister to Group 3 winner Charge. This bloke was a precocious, striking Chestnut who oozed class. He rated A+ on our breeding system and we were very happy to pick him up for just $90,000 towards the end of the sale when we think most buyers had spent their budgets.
Please note price includes the initial purchase price, scoping, race series nominations, x-rays, bloodstock fees, freight, breaking in and agistment inclusive of GST to 31 March 2025.Also includes insurance to the value of $90000 through to 31 January 2026. Is exclusive of any veterinary costs and these will be invoiced separately if incurred. From April 1st a monthly fee of $40 per 1% share will be charged. From September 1st the monthly fee converts to our standard fee of $50 per 1% share. Once monthly fee is applied, all costs are covered excluding feature race fees and extraordinary vet costs.
