Simon has been searching for a D’Argento to add to the stable for the last 12 months and we think we have found the right one at Inglis Classic in Lot 41 for just $65,000.

D’Argento raced at the top level during his racing career, winning a G1 Rosehill Guineas at 3 and lined up in a Cox Plate behind Winx later in his career. He recently sired his first stakes winner and there looks to be more to come as he continues to produce winner after winner.

From a winning Dawn Approach mare in Gobelin, this colt has a great length of reign and beautiful attitude – nothing phased him at the sales and we loved the way he presented during his parades.

This flashy grey colt has an athletic walk and we see him as a horse that will be a middle-distance horse who will get out to staying trips as his matures.

We look forward to having him broken in and get him into our Flemington stable to learn our routines before he can enjoy a nice break and continue to grow and develop.
