Race this Lovely Dundeel Colt

We know how good a sire Dundeel has become in Australia, producing superstars the like of Castelvecchio, Celestial Legend, Militarize, Super Seth and The Inevitable.

The Dundeel x Fastnet Rock cross is responsible for 25 individual winners to date, three at stakes level – we know the cross works. This colt was as nice a physical specimen of a Dundeel as you’d find – strong enough, athletic and oozing quality. He moves beautifully and has a great head on his shoulders – very important for the breed. From limited opportunities this colt’s dam hasn’t produced much to date however her 3yo, Call Me Eddy, trialled extra well before going to the races as a $2.5 favourite and being beaten 22 lengths, then subsequently pulling up with a cardiac arrythmia. Despite not winning a race yet, he looks a nice horse.

The colt is a stronger, more precocious version of a Dundeel and looks like he’ll make into a late season 2yo and train on at three over 1600m+.
