We secured Lot 269, the Exceed And Excel x Ponte Roma bay colt at the Inglis 2026 Premier Yearling Sale for $250,000 in conjunction with John Foote Bloodstock & First Light Racing from the Blue Gum Farm draft.

Our number one pick on Day 1 was Lot 269 which was by the great Exceed and Excel who not only looks fast and early but comes with the added bonus of being qualified for our amazing Bonus Scheme QTIS.

He is the half-brother to a horse we know well in Party for Two who won 7 races and $841,175 in prizemoney. It is a family of precocious 2-year-olds and a family of winners. In total there have been 23 direct winners in the first 4 dams including Dual Group 1 winner Gee I Jane.

We were extremely thrilled to land this colt for $250,000, QTIS Exceed and Excel yearlings are rare as hen's teeth and are excited to have this colt coming into our barn.
