EXFORTYTHREE is an exciting lightly raced four-year-old with enormous amount of upside still to come. A late-maturing gelding who was given the time to develop physically, he has only had four race starts and is still very much an untapped talent.

He announced himself in emphatic fashion when demolishing a provincial field by 3 lengths on debut, displaying the speed, strength and professionalism that we had seen at home. While his first preparation was invaluable in teaching him the finer points of racing, it was clear throughout that his natural ability was well above average. As a horse that didn't race as a two or three-year-old, he continues to improve with maturity and looks set to take another significant step this preparation.

By European Champion Two-Year-Old Magna Grecia (IRE), a Group 1-winning son of Invincible Spirit, EXFORTYTHREE possesses an exciting blend of speed and quality. His dam Soffraaj has established herself as a highly successful producer, with her progeny consistently performing at metropolitan and Stakes level, making this one of the stable's most trusted families.

EXFORTYTHREE recently produced an outstanding metropolitan trial, comfortably matching strides with quality horses, further confirming our opinion that he is ready to return to the races in excellent order. His work has been sharp throughout this preparation, and he has continued to strengthen into a powerful sprinting type.

A naturally fast and incredibly genuine racehorse, EXFORTYTHREE has the versatility to perform on both wet and dry tracks and profiles as an ideal sprinter over distances up to 1400 metres. We believe he has the attributes to develop into a genuine Saturday metropolitan performer, with the potential to progress to Stakes company as his racing career unfolds.
