Lot 145 - Inglis Classic Farnan Filly

Filly by Farnan (Golden Slipper winner) out of Lolanka

Trained by David & Emmalee Browne

Lot 145 offers an appealing blend of elite Australian speed and proven international bloodlines. She is by Champion 2YO Farnan, the Golden Slipper–winning son of Not A Single Doubt, a sire renowned for passing on precocity, toughness and genuine race-day speed.

The filly is out of Lolanka, a daughter of influential shuttle sire More Than Ready (USA), whose impact on Australian and international racing is well established. More Than Ready has sired elite juvenile and classic performers worldwide and is particularly valued as a broodmare sire, consistently producing sound, versatile and competitive racehorses through his daughters.

Lolanka is out of Miss Milanese, a Snitzel mare, adding a strong Danehill-line influence and further reinforcing the pedigree with Australian speed and commercial appeal. This proven cross of More Than Ready over Snitzel bloodlines is highly regarded for producing athletic, trainable horses capable of performing early while still having scope to progress.

Physically, this filly is strong, well-balanced and athletic, with a powerful hindquarter, good bone and an efficient, fluent walk. She carries herself with a professional attitude and presents as an ideal early-to-mid preparation filly, with the scope to continue improving through her 2YO and 3YO seasons.

Inspected and shortlisted from the 2026 Inglis Classic, she is the type of filly trainers enjoy having in the stable — sensible, athletic and built to do a job.
