Our bloodstock guru Neil Jenkinson is well known for finding value and he has certainly achieved this with the recent purchase of So You Think mare Get Litt.
From just four starts to-date, Get Litt has placed 2nd at Newcastle over 1250m, beating subsequent last start winner Pink Persuasion.
Her trial form is also good finishing on the heels of Godolphin’s unbeaten mare Maluku.
Get Litt is eligible for the Inglis Bonus race series with selected maiden races providing a $100,000 bonus for Inglis Graduates. Our focus will be on attempting to win one of the Inglis Maiden races and then aim to progress onto Highway company in Sydney.
Get Litt will be trained by young horseman Liam Ruddy at Scone. We have been keen to give Liam an opportunity to train for us and have been impressed with how his horses have been presented at the races in the early part of his career.
Get Litt is closely related to four-time Group One winner, and Champion 2YO/3YO in Australia, Broadsiding. This is also the family of Group One winner Flit, and two-time Group One winner and Champion 3YO Filly in Australia, Tropical Squall. Get Litt is closely related to this season’s smart Stakes winner Different Gravy.
This is a pedigree with plenty of upside.
Hopefully we can achieve some success on the racetrack which will increase her value at stud for the ownership group.
Get Litt returned to full training on 15.8.26.
Shares are only $975 per 5%, $1,950 per 10% or $4,875 per 25% inclusive of purchase price, insurance until 31.1.27 and all other costs until 13.8.26
