Metro quality gelding - back at the races in 2 weeks
Here is a good opportunity to jump straight into a metro quality galloper and be at the races in a fortnight.
Five-year-old gelding GORBACHEV has only had 15 career starts to date for 5 wins and 4 placings. The ultra consistent galloper ran second at Eagle Farm last Saturday – he did a great job after the jockey spent him early in the race.
His next task is the Lismore Cup on Friday 26 September which is a Big Dance/Little Dance qualifier. The front running Lismore track over the cup distance of 1516 meters will be ideal for Gorbachev and we expect him to be very hard to beat.
Top two horses across the line in the Lismore Cup qualify for the Big Dance ($3 million race) and Little Dance ($750,000 race)
Outside of his next race, he looks like a genuine Saturday grade Brisbane horse where we expect him to win many more races over the coming season.
