HARRY ANGEL X MERIDIAN COLT crosses relation to Stakes winner Arkansaw Kid and G2 winner Stretan Angel.

 

Chosen by John Foote Bloodstock, John said he has the same attributes and quirk as Private Harry who he inspected at the Inglis sales previously in 2023, and unfortunate I did not have the backing as I do now to go the higher price.  So, second time lucky and this colt is secured by SCT.  John said the good Harry Angels he has inspected all have a presence/quirk about them that sets them different to all others.

Private Harry is a 3yo bay Colt from Australia trained by Nathan Doyle, who is based at Newcastle. It is sired by the stallion Harry Angel out of the dam Happy Pilgrim.

Private Harry has managed to win 4 races in its career so far. On 4th Jan 2025 at Sunshine Coast, Private Harry was ridden by Ashley Morgan and scored its most significant win to date, getting the money in the $3005000.00 3yo Open Set Weight, defeating Lady Of Camelot.

This colt looks to be an early type with 2-year-old races a target and with maturity he will be aimed at the classic 3-year-old races.
