Purchased at Easter by Peter Moody, Kings Brook was a very good race mare who did a fine job winning six of her first 12 starts including two in a row at Flemington.

Such mares make the best broodmares and Kings Brook hails from a family of winners with her dam Ordinance having four of her five to race salute whilst her dam Punchess had nine winners from ten foals including the Gr.1 placegetter Exclaim'n'Exclude.

Kings Brook's Gr.3 winning dam sire Hinchinbrook (son of the great broodmare sire influence Fastnet Rock) is already dam sire of six stakes winners including the Hong Kong Gr.1 winner Invincible Sage whilst Ordinance's sire Commands is also a strong influence with his daughters producing 53 stakes winners including six Gr.1 horses.

The Gr.1 Breeders Cup Mile winning successful stallion Artie Schiller hails from this branch of the internationally prolific Frizette family as do the fellow Gr.1 winners Hidden Light, Silver Mountain, Cloth Of Gold, Prince True and Truson.
