The colt is bred to stay. His dam, Angelical, was a five-time winner from 1350m to 1750m, and this colt is her first foal. There is further staying depth in the family through horses such as Text’n Hurley, Call Me Shamus and Excited Angel, all of which gives us confidence that we are dealing with a horse who should appreciate getting over ground as he matures. Our preferred pedigree matrix, G1 Goldmine, returns a 20/20 match and suggests an optimum trip of around 2000m.
