We purchased lot 125, a bay filly by Home Affairs from Rocket Science, for $150,000 in conjunction with James Bester Bloodstock at the Inglis 2025 Australian Easter Yearling Sale from the Lime Country Thoroughbreds draft.

We have wanted to purchase a yearling by the outstanding racehorse Home Affairs all year and it has taken to the last sale of the year to do so. Home Affairs' 66 yearlings to sell this year have averaged $313,106 and have been extremely hard to buy. Today we struck with a filly with a pedigree of international black type throughout.

Home Affairs is the 1st season stallion that everyone wants to own and put into their stable. Rocket Science is the half-sister to German Two Thousand Guineas Winner Devil's Point and also Runner-Up in the Group 1 Doncaster Futurity Trophy. She is also the half-sister to Group 2 placegetter The Acropolis.

Rocket Science herself had Stakes level ability having finished 4th on 3 occasions in Group 3 and Listed company. She is by Australia's leading broodmare sire Fastnet Rock and one of the best broodmare sire's in the world Pivotal sits on the top of the 2nd dam.

The filly has a great deep girth, a very good action with a huge hindquarter and hip. She is super strong and has all the attributes to be a good racehorse. She was very good buying at $150,000.
