We’ve secured a flashy King’s Legacy colt out of a half-sister to our Queen I Am A Star at the Magic Millions Adelaide Sale, purchased for $48,000 from Forge Thoroughbreds.

This colt is sure to catch the eye in the mounting yard with his chestnut colour and two white socks. He's a well-built, strong colt that is an early September foal so won’t take long at all to be up and going.

Kissy For Leslie is a half-sister to our ten-time winner I Am A Star. She won nine Group races, headlined by the Group 1 Myer Classic (now Empire Rose) on Derby Day. She was the first filly to ever win the race. She has produced multiple winners showing that the family can continue to produce.

King’s Legacy was a two-time Group 1-winning juvenile and the last great son of Champion Stallion Redoute’s Choice. He claimed the Sires' Produce and the Champagne Stakes, both in impressive fashion. 

He has made a solid start to his career at stud with his oldest crop being just three-year-olds. In that first crop he sired the Group 3 winner Steel Trap, and Group-placed horses such as Born To Be Royal, Kujenga, Queen's Evidence, and Regeneration. Regeneration was an impressive recent winner at the Caulfield Heath track and there looks to be plenty more in store of that galloper.
