Ole Kirk's first season at stud has been nothing short of extraordinary. At the time of writing (early April) he is leading all comers on the Australian First Season Sire table by winners, prize money and stakes winners and has an unassailable lead en route the being crowned Champion First Season Sire. Importantly, he currently sits at 3 stakes winners and to put it into context, just two sires in the past decade have exceeded 3 stakes winners in their first crop.

We were eager to purchase from this years Inglis Easter Yearling Sale as it is the sale most likely to produce a G1 winner, more likely to produce a 2YO Group winner and has comfortably the best Stakes winners/runners ratio than any of the Southern Hemisphere yearling sales. This Colt represents tremendous value being bought at nearly half the sale average and we can't wait to get him broken in and off the the races as an early two-year-old as the Ole Kirk breed is shaping to be extremely precocious.
