This outstanding Colt by boom First Season Sire in OLE KIRK was purchased at the 2024 Gold Coast January Yearling Sale! He’s since been given time to grow, develop and mature and is now ready to head to the Breakers! A change in the owners circumstances has meant they can’t race him alone so has opened him up for us to get more people involved! To buy a 2yo or Yearling by Ole Kirk with this sort of pedigree now would cost at least twice, if not three times the amount!
OLE KIRK needs no introduction! He’s the leading First Season Sire on prizemoney earnings and by winners so far this season! He himself was an outstanding racehorse having being crowned Champion 3yo for the 2020-21 season after his Group 1 Golden Rose and Caulfield Guineas wins! He is also very closely related to the Australian Icon mare, the great BLACK CAVIAR!
His dam is, MUSIC BAY, is a Stakes Winning mare by the Champion Sire in CHOISIR! She was the winner of four races herself, including the Group 2 SAJC Queen of the South Stakes! She comes from the family of NZ Champion 3yo Filly EASTERN JOY and Stakes Winners VOLKSINI, UTILITY and PIACHAY!
This colt is a great type to go with his great pedigree and we are lead to believe he passed his post sale scope and was Low Risk (Within Normal Limits) on his X-Ray’s. We will double check these things for ourselves however.
We are awaiting a spot at the breakers and he will head there as soon as one becomes available. As we haven’t got a date for that yet, price will only include all fees up until the 1st of July plus Breaking In and Transport to and from the Breakers! Contact for Pricing!
