We can dream in horse racing, it’s allowed because we know it’s a sport where dreams can come true. When the connections of Alligator Blood paid $55,000 for him as a yearling could they ever have dreamt he would retire with 16 career wins, seven at Group 1 Level and banking $9.3 million in prize money.

When John Price gave this Peltzer Colt his unique and ever reliable tick of approval the dream of another Alligator Blood began for us. Why the Alligator Blood reference ? well this beautifully balanced and free moving colt  is out of half sister to the champion.To be clear this was not our reason for buying him, he was purchased on his sheer quality as a physical specimen but it sure does give you confidence that our colt can make the grade. And "The Blood"  is not the only champion racehorse on the page, we also have both Tracy’s Element and Typhoon Tracy the Australian Horse of the Year in 2009 in the bold type and it's a ripper of a female line.

Peltzer as a stallion is slowly but surely making his mark from limited opportunities in the breeding barn. He was the fastest and highest rated two year old by the champion So You Think. Stakeswinners Thanks Gorgeous and Bucchelati are leading the way for the stallion's progeny on track, and the winners are now starting to flow. For a stallion that covered only 37 mares in his first crop 12 winners from 35 runners is an exceptional return. The breeders are starting to cotton on, 37 mares in season one jumped to 66 in season two. 

So where do we send him to be trained? Well how about the four time Group 1 winning trainer David Vandyke. David has been based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland since 2016 from where he has nurtured the talents of Yankee Rose, Gypsy Goddess and yes Alligator Blood. David is renowned for being an exceptionally intuitive trainer and has been described as a horseman’s horseman. When asked if he’d like to train our colt the reply was typically understated “ Yes I'd like to train a colt out of a half to The Blood”. No fancy sound bites, that’s not what you get from David. Just the facts and the skill set of one of the best trainers in the country. 

This colt is fully broken in and has received glowing reviews from our well respected breaker.

The current price on a 5% share is $3,915 which includes the share itself and the syndicate fees for this current quarter. The price on a 2.5% share is $2,048.25 which includes the same.
