We purchased Lot 132, the Pierata x Dongxing Princess bay filly, for $80,000 in conjunction with Strong Bloodstock & Olly Koolman at the Magic Millions 2026 Gold Coast March Yearling Sale from the KBL Thoroughbreds draft.

She is the blood-sister to the Melbourne Stakes Placed Prinzerro and a half sister to the very popular Prince Tycoon who won $300,000 in prizemoney.

1st Dam Dongxing Princess is by exceptional broodmare sire Exceed and Excel and is a half-sister to 5 Stakes horses including 3 Stakes Winners in Group 2 Blue Diamond Prelude winner Samara Dancer, Caulfield Guineas Prelude Winner Eclair Big Bang and Listed winner/Group 2 placed Black Sail.

Pierata continues to do well at stud, and we have had very good success with the breed through the feats of the very talented Spanish Treasure. This filly was secured under budget and has very good bone, shoulder and possesses a very athletic shape. Her attitude and demeanor alongside her physical aspects made her a must have acquisition.
