Meet The Colt
We are once again fortunate to race the latest foal from LA SCOPA this year a big, strong, powerful colt by PIERRO, the best stallion she has ever visited.
Bred and raised at Vinery Stud, he has just completed his breaking-in education. For such a big horse, he moves with a remarkable, effortless action, something the footage from his time with the breaker captures beautifully. He has a Grade 1 throat and a low-risk X-ray rating, and is currently spelling on Vinery's pastures before returning to work ahead of the trip north to join us.
He is a colt we are genuinely excited about, one we believe has all the ingredients to develop into a lovely racehorse with time.

A Family We Know From The Inside
This is what makes him special. We trained his mother, La Scopa, and we train her first three foals, two of whom are now last-start metropolitan winners.
Moon Sweeper — won by 3L through traffic on a Heavy 9, 30 May 2026.
MOON SWEEPER recently enjoyed a well-deserved change of luck, putting his rivals away with ease at Rosehill to win by three lengths.
Vivika — charged home from last to win. Now 3 wins from 6 starts.
VIVIKA was equally impressive at Doomben, storming home from last and taking her record to three wins, two seconds and a fourth from six starts — a filly we believe can rise through the grades and earn black type along the way.
The family's current two-year-old, CRAZY EIGHTS, has recently returned to work, a magnificent horse who has pleased us with everything he's shown so far.
