Our first purchase on Day 2 of Inglis Premier is this striking grey Pinatubo x Shrouded In Mist filly from Two Bays Farm for $200,000.

She has a fat pedigree with the first three dams on the page all being Stakes winners. Shrouded In Mis claimed a Group 2 amongst her six wins and won $322,000. This filly is her first foal. Her dam, De Lago Mist won two Group races as a two-year-old and has produced three Stakes winners from her six winners.

Pinatubo is a son of world-class stallion Shamardal. His first runners have hit the track in the Southern Hemisphere this year and he is already responsible for a Group 2 winner in France. He has thrown some really nice horses here in Australia and there have been a few of them on my short lists the past two sales season so I’m glad to land one I really liked her.

She comes off a good farm in Two Bays who we bought the Stakes-placed debutant Woosh from last year. She finished third in the Listed Gold Soveriegn Stakes last month and is a filly we have a lot of time for.
