This Prague x Barjas Two-Year-Old Gelding has reached the jumpouts and is due back into our Mornington stable shortly after a good break. We expect him to get to the races next prep and will be much improved in his first prep as a gelding.

He is a well-developed type and was left a colt for a bit longer to ensure he continued to develop and it seems to have paid off. His manners were never an issue and he applies himself well. 

Prague is one of the foundation horses for Kia Ora's re-entry into the stallion business, alongside Farnan, and they both had their first yearlings sell this year. Prague was a $1.6m yearling out of the same sale ring. He went on to be a dual Group-winning 2YO sprinter and was Group 1 performed as a juvenile and three-year-old. 

I was taken by his yearlings across his first two crops and thought he was stamping his stock. I bought another yearling this year on the Gold Coast at the Magic Millions.

This colt had size and strength and had an excellent attitude. 

He is out of the Hussonet mare Barjas, who has had three foals to race, all winners! She is a full sister to the dam of Group 1 Stradbroke hero Tyzone, who broke the 1400m course record when winning the Queensland Classic.
