It’s been a fantastic week at the 100th NZB Yearling Sale and we’ve secured this quality Proisir x Twenty One Times (NZ) Colt from Hanui Farm. Bought for NZ$370k, it converts to under AUD$320k. He’s a colt with a lot of substance and is a real three-year-old Guineas type.

Proisir is an emerging sire with six individual Group 1 winners including stars Levante and Legarto.

Twenty One Times was a winner in her own right and has produced two winners so far. She’s by New Zealand stalwart O’Reilly and is a half-sister to Champion Sprinter I Wish I Win.

O'Reilly is the broodmare sire of no less than 31 Group 1 winners including horses such as: Pride Of Jenni, Orchestral, Daffodil, and Espiona. He currently runs at just under 70% winners/runners as a broodmare sire and 7% Stakes winners/runners.

The Proisir - O'Reilly cross is a successful one also with 10 winners of 23 races from 14 starters. The cross also runs at O'Reilly's overall Stakes winners/runner strike rate of 7%.
