Russian Revolution was an outstanding son of Snitzel on the track, highlighted by his Group 1 victory in the Galaxy, and he is well on his way to replicating his champion sire’s success in the breeding barn. He consistently produces quality fillies, and this filly is a true standout. She is out of the imported mare Ruthin, a stakes-winning two-year-old, and this is Ruthin’s first foal.

The breeder, Silverdale Farm, were so impressed with this filly that they have retained a 25% ownership interest — and for good reason. She is a star. It is rare to purchase a yearling filly that is already broken in, but this filly has completed her breaking-in process and is ready to go. She has been educated by Silverdale Farm themselves, and their decision to stay in the ownership is high praise indeed.

Such is their belief in this filly, Silverdale Farm also sent Ruthin to I Am Invincible after her birth. The resulting colt will be offered for sale next year, and Ruthin is now in foal to Too Darn Hot.

This means our filly not only boasts a quality pedigree, but will also be supported by some exceptionally well-bred siblings coming through, enhancing her long-term residual value.

As she is already broken in, we will target her towards all the major two-year-old races, including eligibility for the Inglis Pink Bonus. With Silverdale Farm retaining 25%, the remaining 75% will be offered to ladies only. To qualify for the Inglis Pink Bonus, the filly must be a minimum of 75% female-owned.
