Snitzel x Presque Isle - NZB Ready to Run purchase Come race our next Freak of Nature with us!

Want to race the next Freak of Nature with the stable then this will be the easiest decision for you to make. Our record training sons of Snitzel is impressive from a small sample size, the best being Freak Of Nature who has now won six times, five at city level and is only just starting to hit his straps.

Snitzel is the stallion that year on year never fails to succeed. That success is evidenced in his current stud fee of $247,500.00. That being said we always search for value and have managed to snaffle this guy at the bargain price of $180,000 with clean X-rays and Grade 1 scope. Snitzel himself has been a mainstay in the top three stallions in Australia for many a year and consistently outperforms the new kids on the block. This season Switzerland has been the pin up horse, we are always trying to find value options with him as a sire and we have found one with this colt. He is a product of the recent NZB ready to run sale where he breezed up in an impressive 10.57. The time is even more impressive as he is not bred to be a jump and run sprinter  and  we think he will excel over a mile and maybe even beyond.

New Zealand bred horses won 28% of all Australian Group One races during the 2022-23 season while making up only 8% of the racing population.

We use the industry standard G1 Goldmines for our pedigree analytics. This cross on their matrix is categorised as the Perfect Match, the single most rare air cross on their matrix. A perfect match occurs when there are two or more Graded Stakes Winners with common ancestors in every quartile of the pedigree of the mating. Of all of the premium 20/20 crosses only 1 in 25 are a Perfect Match. Out of a winning Zenno Rob Roy mare he is bred on the same cross as the Group 2 Wakeful winner and Group 1 Oaks fourth  Zennzella.

Japan Cup winner Zenno Rob Roy is developing an impressive broodmare sire record in Australasia with 14% stakeswinners/runners from 35 runners: Group winners Zenzella, Polly Grey, Ecumenical, SW New York Minute, Loch Katrine to name a few. The page is deep with black type horses including the Champion Sprinter and Miler in Japan Mikki Isle.

In short he is the product of a well planned mating and physically he has scope and speed. Jason views him as a Guineas horse and likens him to Pronto Pronto who won a Group 2 for us, who was also by Snitzel out of a staying Mare.
