So You Think is one of Australasia’s most influential stallions, renowned for producing tough, genuine racehorses with class and versatility. A multiple Cox Plate winner himself, he consistently sires performers capable of succeeding at the highest level, from two-year-olds through to elite middle-distance horses.

Hailing from a strong black-type family, being out of the stakes-placed mare Flaming, who finished second in a Group 3 in New Zealand. Flaming is a half-sister to Smoulder, a Group 2 winner and dual Group 1–placed performer, underscoring the depth of quality in the pedigree.

This colt is also a three-quarter relation to Group 3 winner and Group 2, Group 3 and Listed place getter, Burn To Shine (by So You Think) who was up and racing as a two-year-old with a career record of 9-3:1:3 for leading kiwi trainer Stephen Marsh.

From limited foals, the dam has produced Blaze A Trail, a two-time two-year-old winner and stakes-placed galloper.

A beautifully balanced colt with a lot of presence and quality. A big action which is typical of So You Think but with more natural strength than most.

One of the last So You Think’s available at market following his passing late last year. I’ve had good success with the progeny including Larusso and Sirkel who have both won Metropolitan races in Brisbane.
