We had to reach across the country but we got the colt we went for! A flashy colt by a speedy son of Snitzel and out of the Flemington winner Arigato. He was secured for $87,500.

We bought Arigato as a yearling on the Gold Coast and she went on to win four races and up the straight at Flemington. Splintex was a terrific racehorse. He won seven times and over $1m in prizemoney. He was a multiple Group 2 winner, won twice at two, and won Group races at three, four and five. This colt is from his first crop.

It’s a family that we know well and have had a lot to do with. We also had Tahitian Dancer who won a Listed race for the stable and purchased Listed winner Rokanori from the same sale. We also have a Toronado two-year-old who is from this family.
