This filly was one of my absolute favourites in the sale. Physically she stood out — strength through the shoulder, quality bone, great hip, and that fluent walk you look for when you’re thinking about athletic longevity. She has presence. She has balance. She has scope.

Her female line goes back to Let’s Elope, the great Melbourne Cup winner. Dad was a very special part of her journey when she won the Cup. That era shaped so much of our family’s life in racing.
And tucked further into the page is Swats That — a mare who was incredibly good to the Malua family.
