Aaron Bain Racing is delighted to secure Lot 10 at the Karaka 2026 Yearling Sales - a powerful colt by leading sire Super Seth, acquired at an exceptional price.

This colt, a grandson of super-sire Dundeel, boasts the legendary influence of Zabeel on both sides of the pedigree. Dundeel’s sire statistics are nothing short of elite, having already produced eight Group 1 winners, placing him firmly alongside the greats such as Redoute’s Choice and Danehill.

Super Seth, from Dundeel’s first crop, brings together faultless conformation, acceleration, grit, and undeniable class. His barnstorming victory in the sire-making Caulfield Guineas, where he ran down Alligator Blood, showcased all the attributes required to succeed at stud. That promise has been emphatically delivered, with Super Seth crowned New Zealand Champion First Season Sire (2023/24) and Champion Second Season Sire (2024/25).

The damline is equally compelling, featuring an outstanding winners-to-runners ratio and a proven record of producing horses that are early and forward. Notably, the half-sister to his dam, Hurry Curry, won the VRC Oaks lead-up race before finishing a gallant third in the Group 1 feature. Extensive analysis by our bloodstock team identified the Dundeel / Pins cross as a particularly high-percentage formula for producing fast, high-quality performers.

Further strength is found deep in the pedigree, with the third and fourth dams tracing to Sacred Falls, the multiple Group 1-winning mare who amassed more than $4.4 million in prize money.
