This filly is the first foal out of the multiple stakes performed mare Romantic Lady, a family the late Sir Patrick Hogan was developing for many years.
This filly herself is closely related to $2M earner Young Werther. He was a debut winner as an early 3yo before placing in the VRC Derby at just his third start. He then finished his 3yo season by getting beat a nose in the G1 ATC Derby before returning as a 4,5.6 & 7yo to feature in multiple G1 races.
Mum was a very fast stakes placed mare and was unlucky not to beat Roch N' Horse in a 1200m stakes race who then went on to beat Nature Strip and co in a $3M G1 Champions Sprint at Flemington. Romantic Lady debuted as a late 2yo before winning 3 in succession as an early 3yo. The sire has produced G1 Oaks winner Gypsy Goddess plus G1Derby winners Willydoit and Jungle Magnate. He is also the sire of stakes winners such as Immediacy and Kadavar, winner of 6 from 13 including his last 3 in a row.
Physically she is a lovely type, very proportionate, has a nice deep girth and is very hard to fault. She is extremely well balanced and has broken in beautifully as you can see in the clip attached. Since spelled and is currently in pretraining before entering the stable.
She is the first foal from a young mare who is being bred up in an ever evolving current commercial family.
