TRAPEZE ARTIST x MAJESTIC PEDRILLE Colt
This guy was a standout and he ticks all the boxes for an early-running 2YO. He is super athletic and has great bone, a lovely rein, big girth and a powerful hindquarter. He has really thrown to his sire (he's almost identical) and he reminds me a lot of multiple stakes winner Buenos Noches, who we purchased out of this sale a couple of years ago.
Trapeze Artist needs no introduction at the moment having produced two 2YO Stakes winners in the past two months, with Chilly Girl taking out the Group 3 Widden Stakes on debut at Randwick two weeks ago and Where's The Circus romping home in the Listed Inglis Nursery in December. Older horses Disneck and Spywire have also enjoyed success recently winning the Group 3 VRC Standish Handicap at Flemington and the $1 million Magic Millions The Syndicate respectively.
This colt's page is bursting with speed and black type. His dam Majestic Pedrille (Lonhro) is a daughter of multiple stakes winner Madame Pedrille who is from the family of Group 1 winner Diamond Drille and stakes winners M'Lady Pedrille and Ragged Rascal. Super sire I Am Invincible also features in his fourth dam, along with O'Lonhro.
The cross has produced seven runners for six winners, including Group 3 winner Ducasse.
He is paid up for the Inglis Race Series which offers $12 million in additional prizemoney, and includes the Xtra Bonus Series which sees 50 maiden races carry a $100,000 bonus to the winner. He's also BOBS Bonus eligible.
