Soho Ruby's dam Red Rapture is by the much missed Northern Meteor who has been doing such a great job as a broodmare sire with 13 stakes winners including the Gr.1 Randwick Guineas winner Communist.

Red Rapture is a daughter of the stakes winning high class broodmare New Acquaintance - also dam of the Gr.1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Knowledge and the Gr.3 Tesio Stakes winner Maslins Beach.

Another Blue Diamond winner in Midnight Fever hails from this prolific family as does the popular champ Igloo. It is a family that has as its matriarch the great Lady Josephine... it would take a few pages to list her best descendants but she continues to make her mark felt in this part of the world.
