This beautiful big colt is bred to run a distance, with the influence of his sire SAXON WARRIOR’s impeccable Japanese bloodlines (DEEP IMPACT, SUNDAY SILENCE), & his dam, MADAME DE BAN winning over 1500m in metropolitan Sydney.

SAXON WARRIOR https://coolmore.com/stallions/saxon-warrior – was an unbeaten Group 1 winner at 2yo and a brilliant Guineas winner at 3yo. He’s by Japanese super-sire DEEP IMPACT (Champion Sire in Japan 2012-2022) & is out of unbeaten European Champion 2YO Filly MAYBE (by GALILEO). SAXON WARRIOR was best over a distance with Group 1 & 2 wins at 1600m & then placing at Group 1 level over 2000-2400m.

SAXON WARRIOR stood for just 4 seasons at Coolmore at Scone, before being exported to Ireland in late 2022 to continue his stud career overseas. Our yearling colt is from his very last season & with limited progeny available this is one of the last opportunities to race a SAXON WARRIOR colt in Australia. SAXON WARRIOR already has stakes winners with Archaic Smile winning a Listed race in NZ over 1000m as a 2yo, Borna (FR) winning the Group 2 Italian Derby over 2400m as a 3yo & Greenland (IRE) winning the Group 2 FR Prix Greffulhe over 2000m as a 3yo.

This colt is a half-brother to the 2yo VAN DE BAN being prepared by Munce Racing, who had his first start on 30th April 2025 & ran a very impressive race for his debut. This lovely Saxon Warrior colt completed his breaking in during March – May 2025, had a good spell at Ballycapall at Beaudesert & is currently at Eagle Farm continuing on with his education with other yearlings looking at the potential of 2yo racing later this year.

This colt is going to develop into a magnificent horse, estimated to be over 17hh as he matures – you will see what a gorgeous big boy he is in the videos. The comments from the breaker were that he is a highly intelligent colt & an impressive mover with a very long stride. He is a very relaxed boy with a sweet nature, he learns quickly & is easy to do anything with.
