We purchased Lot 298, the Zoustar x Every Rose chestnut filly, for $400,000 in partnership with First Light Racing & Matt Houldsworth at the Inglis 2026 Easter Yearling Sale from the Milburn Creek draft.

Our first purchase of the sale was out of the Group 3 Gimcrack winner who trained on for Group 2 success as well, Every Rose. Every Rose was a $1,300,000 broodmare purchase. We loved her and were delighted when we landed her for $400,000.

This is a high-quality family of winners, with 24 of the 27 to race winning with 9 of those earning $250,000 or more. They include Group 1 winner Racers Edge and Group 2 winner Vintedge in the immediate family.

She looks fast, early and precocious. She is the type of filly we wanted to purchase at this sale. Zoustar is the champion stallion and has sired 11 x Group 1 winners and 75 Stakes Winners in total.

Inspection Comments:
Good hip and hind, good girth, very good action, good width ax hips, like her, could be buyable.
